This opportunity does not have a stipend.

The incidence rates of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) have been significantly increasing due to the epidemic of obesity. The research in my lab focus on the mechanisms by which NAFLD progresses to HCC. We employ mouse models, human pathological specimens, and cutting-edge single cells sequencing and genome editing approaches to investigate the underlying mechanism of NAFLD and HCC, particularly the progression of NAFLD to HCC. In addition to basic research, we are developing immunotherapeutic agents for both NAFLD and HCC. My lab is well-funded by NIH and ACS and made great progression in two immunotherapeutic agent for HCC. Any motivated students and residents are welcome to join my lab to continue this exciting research. If you are interested, please forward your CV to my email at
